  2. Bywater Software at duke.cs.duke.edu

  5. All Bywater Software is released under specific copyright claims,
  6. for which see the documentation or source code for any of the 
  7. particular applications.  Be careful to use the binary mode of 
  8. ftp to download these files. The directory /pub/bywater at
  9. duke.cs.duke.edu contains the following files:
  10.  
  11. sfs101.zoo    zoo'd binaries and support files for Space Flight
  12.         Simulator, version 1.01.  This implementation is for
  13.         the IBM PC and compatibles, and requires Hercules,
  14.         EGA, or VGA graphics. 
  15.  
  16. map101.zoo    zoo'd binaries and support files for the Map utility
  17.         for the Space Flight Simulator, version 1.01. Same
  18.         requirements as the previous file.
  19.  
  20. sfs101.tar.Z    tar'd and compressed source code for Space Flight
  21.         Simulator, version 1.01. When uncompressed and un-tar'd, 
  22.         this will produce a directory full of files: "sfs" 
  23.         (the Space Flight Simulator itself). The README file 
  24.         contains information on compiling the program. The 
  25.         document is in the file sfs/doc/sfs.ro and is in "ro" 
  26.         format (see below). Current implementations available 
  27.         are for the IBM PC and compatibles using Hercules, EGA, 
  28.         and VGA graphics, Unix systems utilizing the X Windows 
  29.         system, and the AT&T Unix PC using the TAM interface. 
  30.         The compilation of this program requires prior compilation 
  31.         of the Bywater grahical user interface (see below).

  33. ui101.tar.Z    tar'd and compressed source code for the Bywater
  34.         graphical user interface (ui).  Prior compilation
  35.         of this subsystem is necessary for compilation
  36.         of the Space Flight Simulator (see above). Current
  37.         implementations are for the IBM PC and compatibles
  38.         utilizing the Microsoft QuickC compiler with Hercules,
  39.         EGA, or VGA graphics, for the AT&T Unix PC, and for
  40.         the X Windows system, version 11 (tested only on
  41.         DecStation 3100 and 2100).

  43. smallf.tar.Z    tar'd and compressed files to construct a "smallfont"
  44.         for the AT&T Unix PC/3B1. See the "read.me" file
  45.         included. The smallfont is needed for Unix PC/3B1
  46.         implementation of the ui and Space Flight Simulator
  47.         under TAM.

  49. ro101.tar.Z    tar'd and compressed source code (and PC binary) for
  50.         "ro", an nroff-like text formatter. When uncompressed
  51.         and un-tar'd, this will fill the current directory with
  52.         files. The manual is "ro.doc" which is in ro format.
